Prof. Ann-Katrin Backlund is Dean of the Social Science Faculty, Lund University. Her research focuses on Social and Economic Geography, Regional and Environmental study of Europe, etc.
Ann-Katrin Backlund教授是隆德大学社会科学部部长。她的研究方向包括社会经济地理学、欧洲区域发展和环境发展等领域。
内容简介：
Introduction：
Economic and industrial transformations have altered the conditions for life in the rural regions of Europe. There is a dramatic reduction in farm employment and the agricultural production’s share of GDP is gradually shrinking. In order to sustain life and ensure economic growth in all regions the EU has introduced substantial funding schemes to assist economic development in rural and peripheral regions. But as the funding is depending on the capacity of the regions to attract support it is difficult for weaker regions to take advantage of the possibilities. The lecture will discuss the principles behind the regional support systems and how regions are trying to form political structures in order to meet the new demands.
经济和工业的转型改变了欧洲农村地区的生活状况。近年来，欧洲从事农业的人口明显缩减，农业在GDP中所占的比重也显著下降。对此，欧盟制定了强有力的注资计划来帮助农村和边缘地区发展经济，但是对于落后地区来说很难利用机会从中获益。本次讲座将探讨区域支持体系背后的原则，以及各地区如何构塑政治结构以满足新的发展需求。
