Prof. Jacques Ganoulis is a professor of hydraulics and environmental engineering at Department of Civil Engineering, School of Engineering, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. His research focuses on transboundary surface and groundwater management, integrated water resources modeling and management, risk analysis of water pollution, multi-criteria decision analysis, fuzzy ecological modeling, floodplain management and flood modeling, marine pollution and coastal circulation, etc.
Jacques Ganoulis教授是萨洛尼卡大学工程学院土木工程系水利和环境工程学教授。他的研究兴趣包括地下水管理、综合水资源管理、水污染的风险分析、多元标准决策分析、生态学泛化模型、漫滩管理和洪水模化、海洋污染和沿海水资源流通等方面。
内容简介：
Introduction：
The main objectives of this lecture are to present the EU environmental policy for sustainable development in a multidisciplinary approach involving legal, scientific, technical, economic and social issues; and to show difficulties in implementing this policy by providing examples of successes and failures. In the EU system, the European Commission’s Environment Directorate-General (DG) is responsible to initiate and define new environmental legislation and to ensure that agreed measures are put into practice in the EU Member States.
本次讲座主要通过涉及法律、科技、经济和社会等领域的综合学科研究法介绍旨在可持续发展的欧洲环境保护政策，并通过成败两方面的例证表明实施这项政策的难度。在欧盟系统中，欧洲委员会环境总局负责发起并解释环境保护立法，以及确保共同认定的措施在欧盟成员国中付诸实施。
