朱丁普，男，一九七O年十月出生，郑州大学法学学士（1991年7月）、英国达勒姆大学国际贸易与商法学硕士（2005年1月），现为北京大学欧洲学博士研究生（2005－2009年），师从我国著名国际经济法学家邵景春教授，研究方向为欧盟法。
由欧洲各大共同体条约、欧盟条约等一级立法，条例、指令、决定、建议和意见等二级立法，国际条约和协定，欧洲法院判例法和欧盟成员国共同的一般法律原则等组成的欧共体/欧盟法律制度在欧洲一体化进程中发挥着极其重要的规范与促进作用，同时亦为世界上其它一些希望通过地区经济、政治一体化的方式而实现自身发展的国家和国际组织树立了典范。在我国，对欧盟法的研究工作才刚刚起步，这与今天建立中欧全面战略伙伴关系的时代主题是极不适应协调的。因此，从崭新的视角入手，通过科学务实的研究方法，加快对欧盟法的系统研究，已经成为当前我国法律学者的迫切任务。

Dingpu ZHU, male, born in October 1970, is a PhD candidate at European Studies Centre (from 2005 to 2009 expected), Peking University, supervised by Professor Jingchun SHAO. His academic research focuses on European Union law. Mr. ZHU was awarded a LL.B degree by Zhengzhou University in July 1991 and a LL.M degree in International Trade and Commercial Law by University of Durham (United Kingdom) in January 2005, respectively.
European legal order, comprising primary legislation including treaties establishing European Communities or European Union, secondary legislation consisting of regulations, directives, decisions, recommendations and opinions, international treaties and agreements, case law of the European Court of Justice, general legal principles common to the Member States of the European Union, plays a crucial role of regulating and promoting in the process of the European integration and sets an example for the others countries and international organizations which try to develop themselves by means of regional integration in economics and politics. In China, research on European Union law has been at its very early stage thus far, which is incompatible with the macro theme “to establish the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and European Union” nowadays. Therefore, it is urgent for Chinese legal scholars to speed up academic research systematically in this regard from a fresh perspective and, by adopting workable and pragmatic methodologies.
