Speaker:

Dr. Jos Elkink works as Lecturer in Social Research Methods for the Social Sciences at SPIRe and the College of Human Sciences Graduate School in UCD since September 2007. His research interests include quantitative research methods, research methods for the social sciences in general, computational approaches, and democratization studies.

Jos Elkink博士自2007年至今担任都柏林大学院社会科学研究方法的讲师，他的研究兴趣包括定量研究方法、社会科学的一般研究方法、计算方法和民主化研究。

内容简介

Introduction：

The lecture will be split in two parts. One is the history of public attitudes towards European integration, the history of European integration referendums, and on elections for the European parliament. And the other is theoretical explanations of attitudes towards European integration and voting behaviour in European integration referendums and empirical investigations of these theories.

本次讲座分为两个部分。第一部分，我们将介绍欧洲对一体化的公众态度的演变、欧洲一体化全民公决的变化和欧洲议会选举。第二部分，我们将介绍针对欧洲一体化的公众态度、欧洲一体化全民公决中的投票行为的理论解释以及这些理论的经验研究。
